Gen-Z Women On TikTok Are Barking At Catcalling Creeps

It’s a thing now: if you get catcalled, bark back.

Street harassment is one of life’s ickiest daily nuisances, especially if you live in a large city. But to be fair, street harassment can happen anywhere men lurk.

Whether it’s making uninvited comments about your body, telling you to smile, asking for your number, telling you you’re a b****, or creepily following you, street harassment is unnerving and annoying. And now, apparently some women have started barking at their street harassers.

Over the past few weeks, women have been documenting their barking experiences on platforms like TikTok. And they’re not just barking at men—folks are barking at religious preachers, racist Trump supporters, and rude old people.
