Review: Sluka - Ready To Connect - PUNCHLAND 4

Right off the bat, I want to say that this song is wild. Sluka really bring home a dark blistering “residue scrape” of a good time with “Ready To Connect.” The breakdowns, use of mixed instruments, and wailing vocals turn the single into a series of sounds rather than just one song with a format to follow. Give it a listen yourself.

The chorus stays in your head. The guitar work is trippy as it is daunting. Over the years, the group’s style has developed and matured – always remaining enigmatic. They tend to keep a focus on creative songwriting, while cultivating an international reputation for their sure-not-to-miss “live shows.”
