Strap on your nostalgia boots and get ready to climb the mountain of moonmist ambient funk. The Cool Moonmist Mountain are here to, uh, take you HIGHER. Like VERY, VERY high. Give a listen to the EP opener, “Dope.”

For me, the best of the three tracks here in the second, “Lofi Spliff.” With some casually cool early 90’s house vibes and elevator vaporwave aesthetic glitches, TCMMB throw down here. Samples are used perfectly, looping over a skittering keyboard, thumping drums, warped-beyond-the-brink bass and just the right amount of “what the fuck where am I?”
